I had the best time at Tory Burch in Burlington for International Womens Day. It was all thanks to Christina from Heart + Halo for including Buggy Box Co.
The most important takeaway from the event? Everyone was so friendly and supportive. Women in business have always been so happy and eager to share ideas and tips with us - we want to see one another succeed! I was really proud of myself for going along alone, as Erin was away on vacation with her family, and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. I had such a great night and really enjoyed myself.
I was excited to learn about the Tory Burch Foundation. The Foundation empowers women and women entrepreneurs by providing access to capital, education and digital resources. It was energizing to take action on some of the advice I received and brainstorm ways to support other small businesses. We know how important it is to support small, women-owned businesses and it was nice to be surrounded by so many like-minded people.
I look forward to staying connected with the new friends I made that night, continuing to reach out and push myself out of my own comfort zone and tell the story of Buggy Box Co.
