4th of July in Boston - HOW TO PARTY

If you are from Boston - you know THE place to be is The Esplanade along the Charles River to watch the Boston Pops celebrate the 4th in style.  Here are the deets and our TO PACK list to make the event so much easier for you and the fam to enjoy the night.

The show is expected to start with WBZ and Keith Lockhart around 8pm and end around 10:30pm.  Following the show will be 30 minutes of fireworks with the entier evening ending around 11pm.  Special guests are musical artists, Darlene Love, The Mavericks and Kelli O’Hara with additional performances from the singing Sergeants of the United States Air Force Band.

TO PACK:

1.  Pajamas - the event ends around 11pm so be sure to bring jammies and get the kids all cozy for the ride home so maybe you can even just transition them right to bed no problem!

2.  Bug spray - just to be safe!

3.  Blankets - picnic blanket big enough for the family to sit and enjoy the evening as well as some smaller ones to get cozy for the ride home or if the night gets a little chilly

4.  Flashlight - fun for the kids and you might want to have it leaving the park at the end of the show

5.  Picnic Basket - food, snacks and waters - don’t forget - no alcohol allowed

6.  BUGGY BAGS - this is a must to keep the littles busy in between performers or when the waiting around for the fireworks just gets to be too much - we got you covered!

Enjoy!  We can’t wait to see photos of you and your families enjoying the holiday.  We remember, most importantly, what we celebrate - those that put themselves on the line for us to live freely.  Thank you.
